Katherine (Kat) Cox was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She spent nearly a decade on the east coast, earning a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and a master’s of fine arts in creative writing from The New School University in New York City, NY, before returning to her homeland. Kat has served as a copywriter, copy editor, content manager, communications strategist, marketing manager, public relations manager, media liaison and more in her career. She has had the luck of writing for health care, technology, and consumer industries,with experience in both B2B and B2C communications and marketing. When she’s not writing, she’s thinking about writing while running or cycling, and enjoys discussing fiction with her dog and two bunny rabbits. Kat is fluent in French and is an avid supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and House Rabbit Society, to name a few of her favorite charitable causes.
